College of the North Atlantic is pleased to offer full-time students with a Health and Dental insurance plan. This plan is mandatory for full-time students enrolled in a College program for 15 weeks or more. With this plan students will have access to drug, extended medical and dental insurance coverage.
Opting out
Students who have comparable alternative coverage may opt out of this plan. Opting out can be done in person at the campus prior to September 17, 2010 or you can opt out online which is offered which is offered through our partnering agency which will take you through the process. You will be required to print off confirmation that you have used the opt out online feature to present on registration day.
In order to be eligible to opt out you must provide proof of alternative coverage. This must be in the form of an insurance card with your name on it or a letter from the insurance company specifying the type of coverage you are eligible for.
