Compound this with a great number of skilled trades people in Canada set to retire, and you’ve got a very high return on investment for those with a college diploma.
Even those with undergraduate degrees are going back to school – to college – to augment their education.
University graduates with such diverse degrees as English literature and anthropology, even MBAs and engineers, are flocking to public colleges to access state-of-the-art technology and tools and gain hands-on experience, giving them an advantage in the labour market.
