Modified and Alternate Courses in High School
High school students who complete modified and/or alternate courses or programs may require further assessment before eligibility is determined.
The completion of a modified or alternate program or course may prevent the applicant from being accepted into regular college programs.
In those cases where alternate and modified courses are provided on the basis of intellectual disability, applicants may be considered through Special Admissions.
Since no disability related accommodations will mitigate for this disability in a post-secondary academic educational environment,
post secondary options are limited and should be explored well in advance ( upon entering level 1 in high school).
