Regulatory Requirements/Industry Standards

While the college may admit students to a program of study, the right to practice is granted only through the appropriate authorities/Industry.
In Health Sciences programs, the right to practice is granted through the authority of the Province in conjunction with national registration /certification bodies.
In Industrial Trades, many programs require the graduate to write qualifying exams administered by the industry. For example, in Aircraft maintenance engineering, after successful completion of the college program and the required work experience, apprentices qualify to write an exam in Aircraft maintenance Regulations to acquire an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's license.
