This forty (40) hour course teaches learners to safely deploy and retract a radioactive testing source in workplace setting. Course time is divided between theory and practical and prepares individuals to challenge national certification exams
This forty (40) hour course is a foundation to Industrial Radiography Testing. Students learn about the principles of penetrating radiation and weld interpretation. Individuals are required to complete a 15 question NRCan math exam as a prerequisite to RT I.
This forty (40) hour course is part of our Non-Destructive Testing Program at College of the North Atlantic. The time is divided between theory and practical, each individual is provided with an Ultrasonic testing unit and will learn the properties of ultrasonic wave testing methods and applications. Individuals will learn to calibrate, inspect welds, and interpret results. Individuals must complete a 15 question NRCan math exam prior to attempting this course.
