Academic Resource Centre Assistance is provided for all mathematics and physics courses. Mathematics areas include pre-calculus, calculus, finite math, statistics, business math, math for transition students, algebra, geometry, ABE math, mathematics for trade students, and mathematics for nursing students. Physics areas include transition physics, college physics, and general and advanced university transfer physics. Groups or individual students welcome for tutoring. Students are also encouraged to use the resource centre as a work station; a place to work on assignments, old exams, and text book questions. Some text books are available for use within the help center. Hours: 20 hours per week (varies from term to term) The Academic Resource Centre can work with students doing business courses, especially those involving accounting and business mathematics. Students, individually or in groups, are welcome to drop by at any time for academic help or just to discuss their work. Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. All students at the Grand Falls-Windsor campus can access services to help with writing and communication skills. The resource centre provides assistance with all aspects of the writing process, ranging from basic grammar to writing business reports and academic papers.
