ORIENTATION

Orientation sessions are arranged for all first-year students early in the semester. These sessions are typically arranged within the class schedule. Students are introduced to staff, given a tour of the centres and a general overview of the resources and services available. A short hands-on demonstration of how to find materials in all of our college centres using iLink and how to use our on-line databases is also included in this orientation. Individual sessions can be arranged upon request.

At the request of instructors, course-specific workshops or presentations can be arranged.  They can be held in the Learning Resource Centre, a Computer Lab or in the classroom.

Also individuals can book one-on-one sessions for research help, computer assistance, etc.

***New sessions may be added throughout the year, so keep checking back.
