Placentia campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on Newfoundland's east coast on the Avalon Peninsula, just a 90 minute drive from St. John's, and has a population of approximately 4,500 residents.  Placentia enjoys the best of small town spirit, with big city convenience.

Full-time credit course registration is approximately 130 students per semester, with another 25  registered part-time. Upwards of 200 students participate in Continuing Education courses.
