Currents Submission Form

1. The subject(s) of your story will be interviewed and/or photographed by someone from Marketing/Communications, and the results will be published, both online and in hard copy.

• Are they aware that you are making this submission?
   

2. We will need good quality photos for publication.

• Does the story come with good visuals?
• Will the subject consent to being photographed?
   

3. Your story should be timely.

• Has it happened recently or will it happen in the near future?
   

4. Does your story fit one of the following categories?

• Significant professional/personal achievement
• New initiative/program/opportunity
• Notable contribution to a field or community
• Special recognition/award
• Promotion/awareness of a college or departmental program or initiative.
   

5. Remember that Currents stories are PEOPLE stories. If your idea is about a program or initiative, we will need you to identify someone who is a good example of the benefits/success of the program.  We will build the story around them, and describe the program/initiative in the process.
