Students enrolled in a co-operative education program will have access to a Student Development Officer (Co-op) who will assist in the development, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of work term opportunities for academically eligible students. The SDO (Co-op) assist students in work term search efforts however, the ultimate responsibility of securing a work term rests with the Co-op student. The student must participate in the Co-op competition process, do the necessary networking, and conduct a personal job search that will lead to Co-op employment. Students in Co-op programs are expected to visit the Co-op Office on their campus to speak with their Student Development Officer (Co-op).
