The Secrets, all graduates of CNA, are playing at many college campuses as part of the fall orientation activities.

College of the North Atlantic (CNA) welcomed students to the 2014-2015 academic year this week with a full schedule of orientation activities taking place across all 17 campuses during the month of September.

Special orientation activities around the province will include student barbeques, movie nights, community tours, a CNA Amazing Race, costume theme days and carnival games, to name just a few.

The orientation will be highlighted with performances by this province’s very own country music trio and CNA alumnae The Secrets, who will visit most CNA campuses between September 2-18.

“We are thrilled to have three talented alumnae help us to celebrate the start of what promises to be a great year at College of the North Atlantic,” said Ann Marie Vaughan, CNA’s President and CEO. “I want to welcome our new students and those returning to continue their studies. I hope everyone had a great summer break and is eager to get involved in their programs and work towards a promising educational experience.”

Fall Orientation 2014 was officially kicked off on at the Port aux Basques campus with the first of two performances on the day by The Secrets – the second was played at the college’s Bay St. George campus in Stephenville.

“The energy that these talented young women bring to our campus is the same level of excitement and enthusiasm they brought to their studies while with the college, I know our students will enjoy their involvement this year,” said Vaughan. “With the various list of events taking place at our campuses throughout the province, I think this could be the best fall orientation that we’ve ever had.”
