2010 Nickel Film Festival Roadshow

The 6th Annual Nickel Independent Film Festival Roadshow will be coming to Stephenville for one night only!
The event will take place Thursday, April 22 in College of the North Atlantic’s (CNA) lecture theatre at the DSB Fowlow Building, 7pm. Tickets are $10 regular, $5 students/seniors and are only available at the door.
Don’t miss your chance to see a selection of the best films from the 2009 Nickel Festival. The 90-minute program features award-winning filmmakers from the 2009 festival including work from: Elephants (Sally Pearce, UK), Throw Me To The Rats (Darcy Campbell, NS), Cut From The Same Cloth (Roger Maunder, NL), Nightwalking (Daniel Cormack, UK), Countdown (Jordan Canning,NL), Ten Days (Christian Sparkes, NL), Of Best Intentions (Brian Durnin, IRE), Gone Fishing (Chris Jones, UK).
CNA’s Media Arts Centre is proud to partner with The Nickel to present these great short films. Other funding partners for this event include Canadian Heritage, Canada Council for the Arts, Government of Newfoundland & Labrador, and the Newfoundland & Labrador Arts Council to support the Roadshow.
The 10th Annual Nickel Independent Film Festival runs from June 22-26, 2010 at the LSPU Hall, 3 Victoria St., St. John’s.
