NC9957   Pole Top Rescue (3 Hours)

Course Overview:

Pole Top Rescue training is primary responsibility for the safety of an employee and those working with him/her rest with the employee and co-workers. Proper procedures are discussed. Alert to the progress and conditions of the work going on around at all times. Safe conditions and periodic inspection of all equipment and tools. Potential hazards associated with climbing. Climbing experience is preferred. Note: individuals attending will be required to wear the safety gear for example: approved hard hat, belts, climbing equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, steel toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, etc. for this course. Instructional methods will include lectures, labs, discussion groups and practical application. Each participant in the program will be provided with a course manual and other applicable materials.
