Halina Kondrasovas

Faculty Researcher (Hyperspectral Imaging)
College of the North Atlantic's Prince Philip Drive Campus

Halina holds a Master of Science in Geosciences with emphasis on Geotechnologies and Natural Resources, and a Bachelor degree in Geology at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. She has experience in Economic Geology, Metallogeny and Remote Sensing.

Her main area of focus is the study of different types of gold deposits, with the help of analytic techniques such as Reflectance Spectroscopy, Hyperspectral Imaging, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Electron Microprobe Analysis and Petrography. She has worked in different deposits in Brazil and Argentina, trying to describe patterns of hydrothermal alteration and to establish possible vectors towards mineral deposits.
