Duties and Responsibilities

The Office of Customized and Continuous Learning (CCL) is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified individuals to deliver the upcoming French Conversation Beginner courses. This teaching opportunity focuses on facilitating and delivering hands-on, experiential learning in accordance with the course's established objectives.

• Provide instruction for CNA's French Conversation Beginner courses - Levels 1, 2 and 3.
• Deliver training in a traditional face-to-face classroom format (possibly online).
• Provide students with a learning opportunity to gain French language speaking and listening skills in a conversational setting.

Screening Criteria

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in French or equivalent.
• Minimum DELF B2 (70% overall average with no less than 60% minimum in all four components).
• Proven proficiency in oral and written French.
• Teaching or instructional experience (asset).

Applicant Information

Course Details: There are three separate courses - each totaling 30 hours, consisting of 20 hours of instructional time and 10 hours of preparation time. An instructor may teach multiple courses, with a maximum of 16 participants per course delivery, anticipated to be delivered over a 10-week period.
