Salary Information
NUNM26 - $45,554.60 - $50,414.00 per annum
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain employee leave accruals, entitlements, and balances.
- Enter, update, and maintain leave and attendance information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS - PeopleSoft).
- Review and verify leave records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable collective agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct audits of employee leave and attendance records and identify discrepancies.
- Perform adjustments and corrections to leave records, as required.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to leave entitlements, balances, and processes.
- Provide information, resolve routine-related issues, and escalate when necessary.
- Review employee service data to ensure accurate leave calculations.
- Generate leave and attendance reports and maintain records.
- Prepare leave payout calculations for employees who are resigning, retiring, or being laid off.
- Handle sensitive employee information in accordance with privacy legislation and organizational policies.
- Perform other related duties within Compensation and Benefits, as assigned.
Screening Criteria
- Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (equivalencies will be considered).
- Experience with leave administration, attendance tracking, or general employee compensation and benefits practices.
