Salary Information
HL28 - $93,905.00 - $122,076.90 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Campus Director is the senior operational leader responsible for overseeing academic, administrative, and campus operations at one of the College's largest campuses.
- Provide overall leadership for the effective and efficient operation of College of the North Atlantic's Bay St. George Campus, including associated buildings and facilities within the region.
- Support the implementation, delivery, evaluation, and quality assurance of academic programs, ensuring compliance with curriculum and accreditation requirements.
- Lead campus operational and administrative services that support students, employees, and academic programming.
- Oversee campus resources, including financial management, human resources, facilities, infrastructure, and physical assets, and ensure responsible budget administration.
- Lead the supervision, performance management, development, and retention of faculty and staff, and address student and employee issues as they arise.
- Support campus safety, including emergency response procedures, business continuity planning, and student support services.
- Monitor campus operations and performance and implement improvements aligned with strategic and operational priorities.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with students, employees, industry, government, community organizations, and other external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with academic leadership to support program planning, program renewal, accreditation activities, and initiatives that respond to regional and provincial labour market needs.
- Identify and support opportunities for partnerships, contracts, grants, and other initiatives that enhance programming and student success.
- Contribute to the College's strategic planning and organizational priorities through leadership of campus initiatives and projects.
- Support community engagement and outreach activities that promote awareness of the College, its programs, and available opportunities.
- Promote a positive student experience and support student engagement, progression, and retention.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Screening Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (Post-Secondary), Business, Public Administration, or a related field (equivalencies will be considered).
- Leadership experience in a post-secondary, public sector, or similarly complex organizational environment, including responsibility for operational, administrative, academic, and/or student support functions.
- Experience supporting post-secondary academic environments involving program delivery, quality assurance, and/or accreditation processes.
- Experience managing operational resources, including financial, human, and/or physical assets.

- Knowledge of academic program delivery and quality assurance processes and practices.

- Resource management skills (financial, human, and physical).
- Ability to support operational planning and contribute to continuous improvement.

Conditions of Acceptance
- While this position is primarily based at the Bay St. George Campus - Fowlow Building, the successful candidate will be required to travel between campus buildings and sites within the Bay St. George region. As such, access to reliable transportation is required.
- Additional travel outside of the region may be required to attend meetings, training, conferences, or other work-related events (occasional).
- This position is required to work on-site.
