Salary Information

CG37 - $65,756.60 - $73,473.40 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Computer Systems Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, securing and support of enterprise IT infrastructure, including server and network systems, security frameworks, and end-user computing environments across the College.

  • Analyze, design, implement and administer wired and wireless LAN infrastructure to support organizational needs, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Administer and monitor network segmentation, access controls, and policy-based security configurations through technologies such as VLANs, Group Policy, firewall rules and related enterprise security tools.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT security procedures and best practices, including encryption protocols, firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure remote access (VPN).
  • Administer and support endpoint and device management technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, and Microsoft Configuration Manager for the purpose of securing and controlling the organization's mobile and on-premises endpoints.
  • Perform ongoing technology reviews to evaluate emerging tools, systems, and infrastructure improvements; provide recommendations to support innovation and efficiency.
  • Performs other related duties as required in support of network infrastructure, enterprise systems administration, information security, and the overall delivery of IT services across the organization. 

Screening Criteria

  • Diploma in Information Technology, or other computer-related field (equivalencies will be considered).
  • Recent, relevant experience supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of network concepts and systems.
  • Knowledge of network security frameworks and controls.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, and integration of systems.
  • Ability to effectively exchange information.
  • Ability to prioritize workload while meeting established deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Client-service focused. 
  • Relationship building skills. 
  • Professionalism.
