On Friday, Oct. 12, the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Honourable Judy Foote, hosted the Governor General’s Academic Medals ceremony at Government House in St. John’s.
The event was attended by eight of the 12 award recipients, Bruce Hollett, CNA’s President & CEO, along with invited special guests, where they all celebrated the achievements of CNA’s top students for the 2018 academic year.
“The awards represent the strong commitment of both the students and their instructors,” said Hollett. “I am proud to see our graduates receiving well-deserved recognition for their exemplary performances, because we know it could not have been possible without their hard work and many sacrifices along the way. On behalf of CNA, I congratulate them all.”
The medals were awarded to CNA graduates for achieving the highest overall average upon completion of their diploma-level program in 2018.
