Salary Information
HL22 - $76,523.00 - $99,480.00 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
A major new initiative led Atlantic Colleges Atlantique (ACA) is focused on growing the green buildings and retrofits workforce across Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Running from 2025 to 2028, the project will deliver training through two new programs—Atlantic Canada Green Seal Certification and Orientation to the Green Buildings and Retrofits Sector.
These programs will support diverse learner groups, including high school students, mid-career workers, and individuals currently out of education or employment. Training will be delivered flexibly through mobile training units and supported by wraparound services. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the transition to a net-zero economy and support inclusive, sustainable job creation across Atlantic Canada.
College of the North Atlantic is seeking a Project Manager to take a lead role in coordinating this multi-year, multi-institutional initiative.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee Program Operations: Manage daily activities for Green Seal Certification and Orientation programs.
- Coordinate Curriculum Logistics: Support micro-credential development and version control.
- Facilitate Steering Committee: Organize meetings, prepare materials, and track follow-ups.
- Monitor Progress & KPIs: Track deliverables and support internal reporting.
- Manage Communication: Ensure consistent updates across institutions using shared tools.
- Support Outreach & Training: Assist with faculty training, outreach, and deployment of tools.
- Assist Budget & Procurement: Track expenses and coordinate vendor processes.
- Contribute to Reporting: Help draft reports and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Screening Criteria
- A degree in project management, education, public administration, or a related field.
- Experience in coordinating or managing projects.
- Experience with sustainability principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate in French to enhances inclusive and accessible engagement with stakeholders (asset).
- Project management training or certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) (asset).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
