Salary Information

HL21 - $74,093.00 - $96,320.98 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages Access to Information requests, including applicant communication, record review, and final response preparation.
  • Applies the ATIPP Act to ensure compliance with requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensures compliance with the ATIPP Actthrough interpretation, analysis, and coordination.
  • Provides current, expert advice on access and privacy to executives, managers, and staff.
  • Prepares response packages including appropriate redactions.
  • Liaises with the ATIPP Office and OIPC on access and privacy matters.
  • Supports departments with privacy impact assessments and compliance recommendations.
  • Manages privacy breaches, including mitigation, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Reviews and advises on access, privacy, and security policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for Privacy Impact Assessments on any new software.
  • Works with key stakeholders to develop a Records Management - IM strategy for CNA.
  • Works with Information Management Technicians to develop records retention schedules in concert with the Provincial Archives committee.
  • Builds positive relationships with stakeholders and ensures clear, professional communication.
  • Other duties as required.

Screening Criteria

  • Completion of a University Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience applying principles and practices of ATTIP Act.
  • Experience in developing and facilitating training sessions and resources.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
