Salary Information
HL19 - $67,358.00 - $87,565.85 per annum. Please note this position is currently subject to a classification review.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages ATIPPA and OCIO-related information requests, including document review, stakeholder coordination, and official responses.
- Understands Access to Information Act, NL and how it applies to access to information requests and appropriate use and administration of the legislative framework.
- Drafts correspondence, briefing notes, reports, and statistical summaries for Executive.
- Ensures compliance with access and disclosure legislation, following supervisor direction.
- Acts as main contact for OIPC reviews and reports, mitigating institutional risk.
- Handles all privacy breaches, including risk assessment, notifications, and reporting.
- Develops policies and procedures aligned with the department's mandate.
- Represents the college on various internal and external committees.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Screening Criteria
- Undergraduate degree.
- Experience with access to information legislation.
- Experience managing electronic content management.
- Experience in policy and privacy administration.
- Experience working in the privacy and access to information field (asset).
- Experience working in a high-volume customer-service environment (asset).
- Experience working in with deadlines and prescriptive timeframes (asset).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
