Salary Information

HL27 - $91,765.00 - $119,293.86 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive and senior management to identify and pursue strategic funding, partnership, and revenue-generation opportunities. 
  • Lead the planning, development, and submission funding proposals supporting college-wide priorities and initiatives. 
  • Advance strategic projects designed to significantly increase external funding and institutional revenue. 
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage service and contribution agreements with government, industry, and other external partners. 
  • Provide end-to-end leadership for strategic initiatives, including consultation, planning, proposal development, reporting, and liaison with funding agencies. 
  • Collaborate with others to lead large scale funding opportunities
  • Able to document a proven track record of success in advancing strategic projects, opportunities and other funding proposals
  • Build and strengthen organizational capacity for funding proposal development through guidance, tools, and best practices. 
  • Ensure strategic development activities support the institution's current and future priorities while mitigating organizational and systemic risks. 
  • Provide advice to senior leadership on funding growth, partnerships, institutional impact, and reputational enhancement. 
  • Oversee project planning, including scope, timelines, resources, milestones, and deliverables. 
  • Manage project budgets, performance indicators, evaluation processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Screening Criteria

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field of study (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered). 
  • Experience leading the development and submission of funding proposals.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives or multi-departmental projects.
  • Experience developing, managing, and administering service or contribution agreements.
  • Experience managing project budgets, performance indicators, evaluation processes, and compliance-based reporting requirements.

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of funding programs, revenue development, and strategic growth planning.
  • Knowledge of service and contribution agreement frameworks, administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lead funding proposal development, including coordination of contributors and performance measures.
  • Ability to collaborate and lead people and teams on strategic, cross-departmental projects.
  • Ability to analyze funding requirements, assess risk, and apply guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively exchange information.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks.
  • Relationship Building.
  • Professionalism.
