Salary Information

CG26 - $45,554.60 - $50,414.00 per annum   

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Clerk Typist III provides essential clerical and administrative support to the College of the North Atlantic's Bay St. George Campus. This front-line role is responsible for a wide range of duties that ensure efficient campus operations and excellent service delivery.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and the public by providing front desk coverage and support.
  • Perform cashiering duties and respond to telephone and in-person inquiries.
  • Process and issue student transcripts and assist with registration and graduation activities.
  • Complete general administrative tasks including data entry, photocopying, faxing, and filing.
  • Deliver consistent support to both internal and external stakeholders of the College.
  • Other related duties as required.

Screening Criteria

  • Diploma in Office Administration (equivalencies will be considered). 
  • Experience in administration, general administrative/clerical support. 
  • Experience with Peoplesoft (asset).

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of general administrative administrative/clerical functions including records management.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively exchange information.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to multiple changing priorities.
  • Relationship building skills.
