Salary Information

NUNM42 - $76,385.40 - $89,999.00 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure enterprise-level infrastructure solutions including servers, applications, storage, backup, Microsoft 365 and related systems.
  • Ensure infrastructure services are reliable, scalable, available, and aligned with organizational standards and service delivery requirements.
  • Implement and maintain secure infrastructure configurations aligned with recognized security frameworks and organizational policies.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and vulnerabilities, and take proactive steps to reduce risk and service disruptions. 
  • Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related technical and security incidents in accordance with established incident management processes.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure security controls and contribute to risk and compliance activities.
  • Ensure infrastructure changes follow established change-management processes.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Ensure backup and recovery solutions meet service requirements.
  • Administer and secure Microsoft technologies including Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
  • Support identity and access management, system integration, and secure configuration practices.
  • Act as a senior technical resource by providing clear, practical advice to management and stakeholders on infrastructure design, security risks, and technology options, and translate technical information into plain language to support informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance security, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead or contribute to infrastructure-related projects and initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor junior staff and promote consistent technical practices.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Screening Criteria

  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field (equivalencies will be considered).
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level IT infrastructure environments (e.g., servers, storage, cloud, hybrid environments, etc.).
  • Experience administering and supporting Windows Server and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience implementing or supporting infrastructure security controls and risk management activities.

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, architecture and integration.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration and security.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security principles, including risk management.  
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.
  • Ability to effectively exchange information.
  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions.
  • Ability diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Incident response skills.
