Salary Information

HL22 - $78,055.00 - $101,471.06 per annum. (Please note this position is currently subject to a classification review).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the College's formal Respectful Workplace Program. 
  • Deliver sensitive, confidential, and strategic supports that promote a healthy, respectful, and psychologically safe workplace culture. 
  • Provide support options to employees who experience or witness disrespectful behaviour or other workplace misconduct. 
  • Coach and educate managers and employees on respectful workplace principles, behavioural expectations, and their impact on organizational culture. 
  • Facilitate the resolution of workplace concerns through conflict coaching, mediation, facilitated discussions, and workplace intervention/restoration services. 
  • Provide consultative and advisory services to all levels of the organization on employee health, wellness, and respectful workplace initiatives. 
  • Conduct psycho-social assessments and provide individual counselling, clinical interventions, and referrals to appropriate community resources. 
  • Develop and deliver training, education sessions, and resources that support organizational psycho-social health and wellness. 
  • Support the development and implementation of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and wellness-related programs and strategies. 
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Screening Criteria

  • Master's degree in social work or clinical psychology.
  • Experience providing counselling services.
  • Experience with conflict resolution. 
  • Experience providing services through an Employee Assistance Program (asset).
  • Current membership in good standing with a professional licensing or regulatory body in counselling, psychology, social work, or related field.

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of counselling practices and approaches that support workplace psychological health and safety. 
  • Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods and conflict-management strategies. 
  • Knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) best practices and the challenges commonly faced by equity-seeking groups.
  • Case Management Skills.
  • Ability to effectively exchange information.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Decision-Making Skills.
  • Facilitation/Presentation Skills.
  • Relationship building.
  • Professionalism.

Conditions of Offer

  • When requested by the Employer, a recent and satisfactory Certificate of Conduct must be provided.
  • Verification of credentials and applicable licenses, certifications, and/or professional memberships as required for the position.
  • Ability to travel to campuses throughout the province as required.

Conditions of Acceptance
