Salary Information

HL27 - $91,765.00 - $119,293.86 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and overall accountability for the effective operation of the Labrador West Campus, including academic delivery, administration, operations, emergency preparedness, and student services. 
  • Ensure academic excellence through oversight of program delivery, evaluation, quality assurance, and compliance with curriculum standards and accreditation requirements. 
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and performance management for faculty and staff, fostering a high-performing and engaged campus culture. 
  • Direct the stewardship of campus resources, including financial, human, and physical assets, ensuring fiscal accountability and operational sustainability. 
  • Serve as the senior campus representative, strengthening the college's profile as an institution and employer of choice and advancing meaningful community engagement. 
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with external stakeholders and collaborate with School Deans to align program offerings with regional and provincial labour market needs. 
  • Identify and advance opportunities for contracts, grants, and partnerships that enhance institutional capacity and student success. 
  • Oversee the resolution of student and faculty issues, ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student retention and success. 
  • Contribute to institutional strategy by identifying emerging program needs, supporting program development, and ensuring ongoing accreditation compliance. 
  • Perform other duties as required.

Screening Criteria

  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Education Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience providing strategic leadership and operational oversight.
  • Experience managing budgets and overseeing financial, human, and physical resources. 
  • Experience overseeing program delivery and academic compliance.
  • Experience addressing and resolving student and staff issues. 
  • Ability to lead, engage, and manage diverse teams. 
  • Ability to cultivate and foster an inclusive and supportive work and learning environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Assessment Criteria
