Salary Information
CG39 - $70,434.00 - $78,824.20 per annum.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the Computer Systems Analyst II will support the administration, security, and ongoing operation of the College's enterprise network infrastructure and cybersecurity environment:
- Administer, monitor, maintain, and enhance the College's enterprise network infrastructure and related security systems.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless networks, firewalls, VPN technologies, and network access control (NAC) solutions.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable and secure operations.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of network security controls and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Monitor network activity, investigate operational and security-related issues, and support incident response and remediation activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Work closely with internal departments, external vendors, and service providers to support network operations and technology initiatives.
- Participate in technology evaluations and assist with the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure and related assets.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and reports.
- Participate in cross-training and provide operational support across the IT team to ensure service continuity.
- Provide on-call support outside of regular working hours, as required.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the effective operation of Information Technology Department.
Screening Criteria
- Diploma in a related Information Technology field (equivalencies will be considered).
- Recent, relevant experience supporting complex IT infrastructure.

Conditions of Acceptance
Periodic travel throughout the province to support College operations at various campuses and locations will be required.
