Salary Information

CG39 - $70,434.00 - $78,824.20 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the Computer Systems Analyst II will provide technical support and operational assistance in the administration, maintenance, and security of the College's enterprise infrastructure services:

  • Provide technical support for enterprise infrastructure services, including servers, applications, storage, backup systems, Microsoft 365, endpoints, and related technologies. 
  • Assist with the administration, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure environments to support reliable and available technology services. 
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, backup status, vulnerabilities, and service availability to identify and address potential issues. 
  • Assist with troubleshooting, analysis, remediation, and resolution of technical and security-related issues in accordance with established procedures. 
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of secure, reliable, and effective IT solutions and services. 
  • Collaborate with IT team members and internal/external stakeholders on the planning, design, procurement, implementation, and ongoing support of information technology assets and services. 
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system records, procedures, and reports as required. 
  • Participate in cross-training and provide operational coverage with other IT resources to support service continuity. 
  • Provide on-call support outside of regular working hours, as required. 
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the effective operation of Information Technology Department.



Screening Criteria

  • Diploma in a related Information Technology field (equivalencies will be considered). 
  • Recent, relevant experience supporting complex IT infrastructure. 

Assessment Criteria

  • Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including server environments, cloud services, virtualization, cybersecurity, backup and recovery solutions, mobile device management, and related technology services.

Conditions of Offer

Conditions of Acceptance

Periodic travel throughout the province to support College operations at various campuses and locations will be required.
