National recognition for CNA student

Chris Foster is one of 13 students in the country to receive the Arthur Paulin Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Award.

February 5, 2004 – Chris Foster of Cormack, Newfoundland and Labrador, and 3rd-year Automotive Service Technician student at Gander campus of College of the North Atlantic, is one of 13 students in the country (and the only student in the province) to receive the Arthur Paulin Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Award. Valued at $700, this award recognizes demonstrated leadership ability in school and the community, combined with good citizenship and exemplary academic standing.

The award is offered by the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA) to encourage students to pursue studies in an automotive aftermarket industry related program. The automotive aftermarket is that part of the automotive industry concerned with the manufacture, remanufacture, distribution, wholesaling, and retailing of all vehicle replacement parts, accessories, tools, equipment, chemicals and services.

Faculty and staff at Gander campus would like to congratulate Chris and wish him all the best in his future endeavours!
