The Construction Craftworker Program is a nine-week program which offers training and safety certifications necessary for individuals working on residential, commercial, and industrial construction sites.
 
OBJECTIVES
  1. Use trade tools and equipment safely in preforming practical activities in various construction sites.
  2. Develop safe and efficient work practices for various worksites.
  3. Acquire safety certifications necessary for various job site.
  4. Offer training in alignment with Red Seal Certification.

Admission Requirements


  1. The applicant must possess a minimum of grade 10 or the equivalent. 
  2. Individuals who are newcomers to Canada (including but not limited to international students, graduates, individuals with work permits, etc.)
  3. Individuals over 19, not meeting this criterion, may be considered under the Mature Student Requirements. 
  4. English as a second language speakers must provide proof of English language skills - All applicants must meet the College’s English language proficiency requirements for acceptance into regular programs. The College will accept these recognized tests of English language proficiency (TOEFL paper based 550, TOEFL Internet based 79, TOEFL computer based 213 or equivalent, IELTS Academic Test overall band score of 6.0, CLB 7 or Pearson PTE 53, CLB 7 or greater, etc.).
