NC1454   Chainsaw Safety Practical

Course Overview:

This Chainsaw Safety course is intended to enhance participants' knowledge of the most common and widely accepted procedures and techniques used in chainsaw operation and logging activities. In the course, participants will learn safe chainsaw handling as well as best practice techniques in felling and limbing using a chainsaw in logging operations. Participants will also engage in a chainsaw practicum throughout the course to put their newly acquired knowledge and skills to use under the direction of an experienced chainsaw operator. (6 Hours)

PREREQUISITES: NC1445 - Chainsaw Safety (Awareness) or equivalent.
