Refund Tuition and Fees

At College of the North Atlantic (CNA), students are responsible for initiating their own refund requests. To begin this process, please contact the Student Services office at your campus. All tuition refunds will be issued by Headquarters and applied to any outstanding student account balances before any funds are returned.

Important: Application fee, deposit fee, and confirmation fee are non-refundable
  • Refunds are issued only via PayMyTuition.
  • If a visa is denied by the Canadian Embassy and the student is unable to attend the College:
    • Any tuition paid will be fully refunded.
    • If the student has already registered and attended classes, they will be liable for pro-rated tuition and materials for the time attended.

Refund Special Program Types

Out-of-Sequence, Trades & Continuous Intake Programs

Students who graduate or withdraw from these programs will be liable for the actual number of weeks attended. Any overpayment will be refunded.

Textbook Refund Policy

Textbook refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Books must be unmarked and in saleable condition
  • Books must be returned within the first three weeks after classes begin
  • Original receipts must be provided for a refund to be issued
