Fall Orientation - Registration- 9:00AM NDT- 9:30AM NDT All students are asked to go to the Cafeteria for registration. - Bonavista
Fall Orientation - Information Session- 9:30AM NDT to 10:15AM NDT A general information session will be provided to students on: academics, library services, Student Services, and Support Services. - Bonavista
Fall Orientation - Wellness- 10:15AM NDT to 10:30AM NDT A nutrition break in the Cafeteria with information about wellness supports at CNA. - Bonavista
Fall Orientation - Program orientation- 10:30AM NDT to 12:00PM NDT All students need to know about their programs, assigned classrooms, class schedules, forms, booklists and more. This will be held in the Cafeteria. - Bonavista
Fall Orientation - Pizza Party- 12:00PM NDT- 1:30PM NDT Time to have a pizza break and get to know some of your classmates and meet new friends! - Bonavista
Fall Orientation - Games- 1:30PM NDT- 3:00PM NDT All students are invited to participate in Bingo and other games for some fun and friendship.

Fall Orientation - Bus Tour- 1:00PM NDT- 3:00PM NDT Students can take a bus tour of the area to visit/identify local points of interest can be found (eg. restaurants, grocery stores, clubs, churches, pharmacy etc.)

Guidance Counselling Event- 7:00PM NDT (6:30 p.m. in Labrador) Counsellor Connection: Ten Tips for Success at CNA! Open to all students (including Distributed Learning). Get some helpful advice and tips that show you how to manage your time, take good notes, and do well on tests. This will be followed by a Questions & Answers session with a panel of counsellors. This week will kick off with a commemoration of the Progress Flag at our campuses. There will also be the launch of the Champions for Change initiative that includes the opportunities for students and employees to sign a banner to support the EDI culture at CNA! - All Campuses
Accessibility Services Presentation- 7:00PM NDT (6:30 p.m. in Labrador) MS Teams (check your CNA student email for your invitation) All the changes that come with entering a new phase in your life can leave you feeling overwhelmed. We encourage students who have diagnosed learning challenges, or those who may be coping with Mental Health issues to reach out. Our Accessibility Services team can assist in alleviating that extra stress through support, guidance, and practical tools. In this presentation, we provide a comprehensive tour of our supports, explain how to acquire accommodations and who to contact at your specific campus (including our Distributed Learning students) to get the accommodations in place for your upcoming semester. Support is never far, and your success is our priority. We are here for you!

MerB’ys – Directed By Jamie Miller • Synopsis: B’ys means buddies in Newfoundland. MerB’ys, however, means men in sparkly mermaid tails trying to do something good in their community. Newfoundlanders of varying bodies, identities, ethnicities, and experiences with masculinity come together to create something silly and meaningful in the 2020 MerB’ys Calendar. You're a Natural - Library Services Team- 7:00PM NDT (6:30 p.m. in Labrador) Have you ever been overwhelmed by all of the information out there? Are you concerned about “fake news” and misinformation on social media? Would you like to be someone who is “informed” on a topic? Want to get ahead of your research projects this year? This presentation can help. We will explore the concept of information literacy by breaking it down into four manageable steps. Then discuss how, with practice using CNA’s library resources, you can fit this skill into your life.
