About Clarenville Campus

Welcome to the Clarenville Campus of the College of the North Atlantic! Clarenville is home to 6000 people in the heart of Eastern Newfoundland. With seven programs Clarenville campus has something for everyone! 

If you love to be outside Clarenville is the community for you! With White Hills ski resort, groomed snowmobile/ATV trails and an extensive hiking network in the surrounding areas this is really an all seasons town.

The Town of Clarenville has extensively developed the Elizabeth Swan Park area with walking trails, baseball fields and a splash pad. Clarenville is a community that caters to young and old. Clarenville has great local shopping and restaurants as well!

Hi there, and welcome to Clarenville Campus! My name is Lori Thornhill, and I am your Student Development Officer (SDO). I am so excited to welcome you, and I look forward to supporting you throughout your time at CNA! I am here to help with all things non-academic. This includes student aid, scholarships, campus ID cards, work placements, any questions you have and more. Any time you have a question or are looking for resources, never hesitate to reach out. We are here for you, and it is our goal to help you succeed.

My door is always open, be that here in the hallway, or my virtual door if you are studying online. Never hesitate to drop by! My aim as the campus SDO is to ensure you have the most successful, and enjoyable time possible during your CNA experience. Keeping that in mind, if you have any suggestions or ideas, I am all ears!
