About Peer Tutoring
This program is designed to assist CNA students who, despite their best efforts, are still experiencing difficulty in a specific subject area. Students may be matched with a peer who has been approved to tutor in that course area. While tutoring doesn’t guarantee immediate success, it has proven to be a highly effective way for students to strengthen their understanding and improve academic performance.

Peer Tutors play an important role in supporting fellow students and building a strong learning community at CNA. They provide academic support in subject areas where they have demonstrated strong performance and are paid $20 per hour. If you enjoy helping others, have solid grades, and want to build valuable leadership and communication skills, becoming a Peer Tutor may be for you!
