Newfoundland and Labrador is a land rich in cultural heritage and the province's tourism industry is experiencing tremendous growth. A world-wide reputation for being friendly and welcoming, combined with our many natural attractions - the Viking settlement at L'Anse aux Meadows, Gros Morn and Terra Nova National Parks, whales and icebergs, and the many colourful outports that dot our vast coastline - has led to an increased need to professionalize the province's many tourism operations.
The college's two-year Hospitality Tourism Management program offered at our Prince Philip Drive campus prepares individuals to assume management roles within this important sector of the province's economy.
Our Bonavista Institute for Cultural Tourism is a leading-edge centre for professional development for new or existing tourism operators throughout Atlantic Canada, offering short courses focused on assisting tourism operators and cultural providers in delivering world-class visitor experiences.
