Wayne Quilty, Director of Partnerships, Entrepreneurship and Community Engagement
Gary Tulk, Vice President of Industry & Community Engagement is pleased to welcome Wayne Quilty as the college’s new Director of Partnerships, Entrepreneurship and Community Engagement.
 
Wayne comes to the college with 35 years of experience in economic development in Newfoundland and Labrador. Having held leadership positions with federal, provincial, municipal and First Nations governments, Wayne has extensive expertise in mentoring entrepreneurs through start-up and business expansion processes, as well as the development of strategic partnerships between industry, applied research and funding partners.
 
Wayne also brings significant regional knowledge to the Industry and Community Engagement portfolio from his roles as Manager of Field Operations for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and previous experience as the college’s Industry Liaison Officer for the Office of Applied Research and Innovation and the Atlantic umbrella organization - Springboard Atlantic.
 
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Memorial University and bilingual status from the Government of Canada.
