NC1645   Bucket Truck Rescue (4 Hours)

Course Overview:

The Bucket Rescue Training is a course designed to teach several approved procedures to perform a safe rescue. The design of the bucket (tip bucket) and the availability of rigging on the truck (Bucket Rescue Device or rope blocks) may determine the method a person will use. Regardless of which method is used, practice is of the utmost importance in order for the procedure to become routine and the rescue time duration to become minimal.

An individual will review the curriculum handouts, watch a video entitled "EUSA RESCUE" and then perform a bucket rescue in the field. The rescue will be performed using the "Bucket Rescue Rig".

Note: individuals attending will be required to wear safety gear for the training, for example: approved hard hat, belts, climbing equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, steel toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, etc. Instructional methods will include lectures, labs, discussion groups and practical application. Each participant in the program will be provided with a course manual and other applicable materials.
Disclaimer: Tuition costs may vary among campuses. With few exceptions, all courses include HST. There may be additional charges for textbooks, course materials and other supplies. Courses will commence pending sufficient enrollment. Dates/times are subject to change.
