The Hazardous Areas Equipment Recurrent two (2) day refresher course provides designated personnel with the theory and principles used to protect electrical equipment in hazardous areas and in the design of electrical systems for use in hazardous areas.
It covers electrical equipment in a potentially explosive environment giving a better understanding of the relevant standards, the code rules and general engineering practices relevant to these hazardous area locations. The appropriate locally applicable standards, certifications, and rulings are referred to when making decisions regarding hazardous area equipment and practices.
