Course Overview:

This course is designed to help apprentices and trades professionals develop the communication, professionalism, and customer service skills needed to succeed in residential renovation and construction environments. Participants will explore how effective communication, respectful workplace behaviour, and positive client interactions contribute to strong working relationships, professional reputation, and overall job success.

Through interactive discussions, practical activities, and real-world renovation scenarios, participants will build skills in managing client expectations, responding to complaints, resolving conflict, and maintaining professionalism on the job site. Topics also include respectful communication, privacy and social media considerations, teamwork, and strategies for creating positive customer experiences while working in clients' homes.

By the end of the course, participants will have increased confidence in handling workplace and client interactions professionally, respectfully, and effectively across a variety of trades settings. (6 Hours)
