Parchment Replacements
At the College of the North Atlantic (CNA), a parchment is the official, formal legal document—such as a Certificate, Diploma, Post-Diploma, or Advanced Diploma—awarded to a student upon the successful completion of an approved program of study. Unlike a transcript, which provides a detailed list of every course and grade, the parchment serves as the ceremonial "wall certificate" that confirms a specific credential has been earned. Each parchment is standardized in style and includes high-security features, such as the official College seal, a gold label embossed on the lower left, and the signatures of both the College President and the Registrar. While the initial document is typically issued at graduation, students can request a replacement parchment
All graduates are issued parchments at program completion. If a parchment is lost, stolen or damaged, CNA may re-issue the parchment. To request a parchment replacement, email the completed Parchment Request Form to parchments@cna.nl.ca.
