PA2005 - Obstetrics and Pediatrics
In this course, learners apply knowledge and demonstrate skills related to the branches of medicine concerned with diseases of the female reproductive system, pregnancy, and childbirth. More specifically, the study of the physiologic and pathologic function of the female reproductive tract and the care of the mother and fetus throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the immediate postpartum period is addressed. Learners will also incorporate skills learned in previous courses to complete specialized training in evaluation and resuscitation of neonates and pediatric patients.
