Message from CNASU President

On behalf of College of the North Atlantic Student Union (CNASU), I would like to welcome you to CNA!

It is an exciting, yet maybe anxious, time for us as we take on a new chapter in our lives. This is why it is so important to connect with others, whether on campus or online, including students, faculty, and administration members. The easiest and most effective way to do this is to become a part of CNASU! There are many opportunities, such as being an executive member, or simply taking part as a student in various initiatives and events throughout the year.

CNASU members work with students, faculty, and administration to ensure a safe, accessible place to bring forward any concerns, interests, or ideas that may be relevant to the college or the community. Throughout the year, you may be involved in events like fundraising efforts, social events planning, and community projects that can give you a sense of purpose and fulfillment outside of your studies.

By becoming a member of CNASU, you will also build on and improve skills that will carry over into your career. Leadership, organization, responsibility, and planning are just a few that you can expect to gain when you are a part of our team.

Reach out to your campus’s Student Development Officer (SDO) today and ask them how to become a member of CNASU. Remember, you can get involved on a campus level with your local student union, or provincially. Regardless, you are sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to any of the helpful staff at your campus.

On behalf of CNASU, I hope you all have a safe and happy school year!
