President's Message

Welcome to College of the North Atlantic!

This college is a place where no matter who you are or where you come from, we want you to feel like you belong! We want CNA to be a positive experience from the moment you visit our website to the celebration of when you become a graduate. We know that by working together, we will build your future one course at a time.

Throughout our provincial college, our five schools and our 17 campuses, there is something for everyone! Perhaps you are fresh out of high school, returning to college after a long absence, or maybe you want to enhance your skills to advance your career. Whatever the reason you’ve chosen CNA, we thank you for trusting us to achieve your goal.

You only need to look at our core values – Excellence. Diversity. Integrity. Respect. Transparency. These ideals are crucial to the landscape of CNA. If we reflect on what each of these guiding factors means, we can take comfort in knowing that by combining several or all of these values, we are better able to lay a solid foundation for your future and our vision.

If you’re unsure of which direction to take in life, we have more than 100 programs to choose from in the areas of Academics, Applied Arts & Tourism; Business & Information Technology; Engineering Technology; Health Sciences; or, Natural Resources and Industrial Trades. We are committed to providing you with real hands-on training, where possible in today’s physically distant world, while also developing your knowledge, passion, and skillsets to make you someone employers want as part of their team. Our partnerships with industry stakeholders keep us current when it comes to the programs we offer, and confident in the calibre of graduates we produce.

CNA has more than 1,200 experienced faculty and staff who are ready to get you started and help you to succeed. So, please take some time to explore our website, ask questions of our knowledgeable staff, and let us help you discover your potential for the future you’ve always wanted.

Kind regards,
Liz
